A telecommunications data accessing device (2) comprising means (44,46) for connecting the device to a link (10) of a telecommunications network, means (48) for accessing a predetermined data channel (40) received on the link (10), and means (6) for transmitting data on the channel (40) to a remote analysis centre (300), the device (2) being able to access and transmit the data without affecting a telecommunications terminal connected to said link (10).
