A method for generation of a clock synchronized with time references derived from input signals in an apparatus of a telecommunications network comprising an input part receiving the input signals and a part for treatment of said input signals is described. In the input part the method comprises the steps of deriving the time reference signals from the input signals, reading an edge of the reference signals, establishing the position of this edge relative to the internal data frame, inserting in the frame heading a pointer representing the established position of the edge relative to the frame and sending the frame to the treatment part. In the treatment part the method comprises the steps of receiving the frame, extracting said pointer, generating said time reference clock and synchronizing it with the position in the frame indicated by the pointer. An apparatus applying this method is also proposed.
L'invention concerne un procédé de génération d'un rythme (22) synchronisé avec des références temporelles dérivées de signaux d'entrée (12) dans un appareil (10) d'un réseau de télécommunications comprenant une partie d'entrée (11) recevant les signaux d'entrée ainsi qu'une partie de traitement desdits signaux d'entrée. Dans la partie d'entrée (11) le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à dériver les signaux de références temporelles des signaux d'entrée, à afficher un front des signaux de référence, à établir la position de ce front par rapport à la trame de données intérieure, à insérer dans l'en-tête de la trame un pointeur représentant la position établie du front par rapport à la trame et à envoyer la trame à la partie de traitement. Dans la partie de traitement (13), le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à recevoir la trame, à extraire ledit pointeur, à générer ledit rythme (22) de référence temporelle et à le synchroniser avec la position dans la trame indiquée par le pointeur. Un appareil de mise en application de ce procédé est également proposé.
