Using a telephone which has been previously handled by an infected person makes one susceptible to catching contagious viruses. The microphone area of the telephone receiver is an ideal breeding ground for microorganisms. When one is speaking into the microphone of the telephone receiver a transfer of microorganisms takes place. Any person subsequently using the telephone will be breathing in the viruses from the microphone area. This is a very unhealthy situation as the telephone has been proven to be a common spreader of microorganisms. To repel an attack of such invaders is to stick a Telepad on to the microphone area of the telephone receiver thus reducing your chances of contracting a contagious virus.
