12 Abstract of the Disclosure A telephone base detachably retains a support by the reception of flanged projections through slots, and then relative sliding movement of the base and support into completely assembled positions. To dismantle the parts relative sliding movement is required in the opposite direction. This sliding movement is laterally of the direction of movement required to force the base and support apart. With the slots and flanged projections formed in rigid structure regions, forcible removal of the base from the support is thus prevented.
