The invention relates to a telephone device, wherein the usual line selector unit is replaced by a single line selecting unit (9). When the inventive line selecting unit (9) is manually activated (11), a line selection number which is programmed inside said device is activated or a telephone-identifying code is transmitted to an exchange, which establishes communication with a predetermined receiver station.
