TELEPHONIC SUPPORT RECEPTACLE And Method Therefor Abstract of the Disclosure A telephonic support receptacle (106) for releasably affixing a potion of a telephonic handset thereto. Latch members (160,178) forming portions of the support receptacle latchingly engage with latching surfaces formed upon the telephonic handset. Cantilevers (124,130) are formed along opposing side surfaces of the support receptacle (106). Application of actuation forces upon either cantilever (124,130) causes movement of the latch members (160, 178) out of the latching positions thereby to release the telephonic handset from latching engagement with the support receptacle (106).
