A telescoping/collapsible baton is carried on the dutybelts of Police Officers and Security Officials in a scabbard or holster that rides vertically on the Officer's hips or further rearward towards the spine. In this invention a metal band is fitted snugly around the dutybelt and is worn at the front of the dutybelt near the belt buckle on the Officer's non-dominant side. Formed into the front or face of the metal band is a raised channel which travels from the top to bottom of the belt at a 45 degree angle downward away from the beltbuckle. The baton scabbard is to be unclipped from the belt and clipped through this raised channel resulting in the holstered collapsible baton being carried at the front of the Officer's body at a 45 degree angle, with the handle riding slightly to the side of and above the belt buckle. When required the baton can be rapidly withdrawn in a crossdraw fashion.
