A telescopic straw is disclosed which comprises an outer member and an inner member slidably fitted in the outer member. A flange-like rigid stopper is provided on the inner member at the open rear end thereof. The inside diameter of the open front end of the outer member is smaller than the outside diameter of the stopper so that the stopper is stopped from removal forwardly through the open front end by being engaged with the open front end. The outer member is provided with an engagement portion located behind the open front end and projecting inward in the radial direction of the outer member so as to prevent the inner member from moving backward past the engagement portion after the stopper on the inner member is pulled forwardly past the engagement portion. The inside diameter of a portion of the outer member, which is located between the engagement portion and the open front end, is equal to or slightly smaller than the outside diameter of said stopper.
