A harvesting header for an agricultural harvesting machine comprises a frame and a crop guide, that can be attached to the frame by at least one telescopic support and that can be adjusted by an outside force. The support contains at least one first telescoping component and a further telescoping component. A linear motor for extending and retracting the telescoping support is provided in the interior cavity formed by the telescoping components. One end of the linear motor is connected to the first telescoping component and the other end is connected to the further telescoping component.
