A telescoping vacuum-cleaner pipe assembly has a guide sleeve on an outer pipe which cooperates with an actuating sleeve displaceable against the force of an annular spring on the guide sleeve to lock and unlock a detent engageable in recesses on an inner pipe. The annular spring is held between the actuating sleeve and an annular cap locking into the actuating sleeve.

Cette invention concerne un tube d'aspirateur télescopique comportant un manchon de guidage sur le tronçon de tube ayant le plus grand diamètre qui fonctionne de concert avec un manchon de commande que l'on déplace contre la force d'un ressort annulaire monté sur le manchon de guidage pour bloquer/débloquer un cliquet destiné à se loger dans des évidements du tube de petit diamètre. Le ressort annulaire est maintenu entre le manchon de commande et un capuchon annulaire se verrouillant dans ledit manchon de commande.
