ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A television signal receiving system is disclosed which included an input terminal for receiving television signals including standard television signals each trans- mitted through an allotted channel of television channels and a non-standard television signal transmitted through a predetermined channel of said television channels, a converter connected to the input terminal for converting the non-standard television signal to the standard television signal occupying a vacant channel in the television channels, and a signal output circuit connected to the input terminal an to the converter for deriving compound television signals including the standard television signals and the converted standard signal.
