A portable air temperature controlling device (41) useful for warming air (42) surrounding an aerosolized drug formulation is described. Warming the air of an aerosol makes it possible to reduce the size of aerosol particles produced by an aerosol generation device. Additionally, warming the air forces the size of the aerosol particles to be in the range required for systemic drug delivery independent of ambient conditions. Smaller particles can be more precisely targeted to different areas of the respiratory tract.

L'invention concerne un dispositif portatif régulateur de température (41), utile pour réchauffer l'air (42) autour d'une formulation de médicament en aérosol. En réchauffant l'air d'un aérosol, on parvient à réduire la taille des particules sortant du générateur d'aérosol et, en outre, on contraint la taille desdites particules à entrer dans la gamme requise pour une administration de médicament systémique indépendante des conditions ambiantes. De fait, les particules qui ont une taille réduite peuvent être ciblées avec une précision accrue sur différentes zones des voies respiratoires.
