- 1 - Abstract: The invention is a temperature/humidity detecting element which can detect temperature and humidity with a single element, and a detecting apparatus using the temperature/humidity detecting element. The temperature/ humidity detecting element of the present invention varies the element impedance value with respect to variations in the temperature and humidity, and the temperature/humidity detecting apparatus is adapted to provide variations in the temperature/humidity detecting element impedance as detection signals of the temperature and humidity. Such elements are widely used and of great value in industrial applications wherein it is necessary to control tempera- ture and humidity simultaneously, since temperature and humidity controlling operations can be made by the single element and the one apparatus.
