In an oscillator comprising a resonant circuit (L, C, RCu) and an amplifier circuit (V, R1, R2, R3) connected as a negative resistance (Rn), a direct current source (I1) is connected in series with the resonant circuit (L, C, RCU). In this way, a signal (Ucu) is provided being a measure for the resistance of the oscillator circuit coil (L). By using this signal (Ucu), a control circuit (V1, M; V2, V3, M) controls the negative resistance (Rn) inversely proportional to the resistance (RCU) of the oscillator circuit coil (L). This affords a simple stabilization of the temperature behavior of the oscillator circuit (L, C, RCu) and allows the low price manufacture of inductive proximity switches having a great switching distance which function safely in a broad temperature range.

Dans un oscillateur comportant un circuit résonnant (L, C, RCu) et un circuit amplificateur (V, R1, R2, R3) connecté en guise de résistance négative (Rn), une source de courant continu (I1) est connectée en série avec le circuit résonant (L, C, RCU). De cette façon, on peut obtenir un signal (Ucu) qui est une mesure de la résistance de la bobine (L) du circuit oscillant. En utilisant ce signal (Ucu), un circuit de commande (V1, M; V2, V3, M) contrôle la résistance négative (Rn) inversement proportionnelle à la résistance (RCU) de la bobine (L) du circuit oscillant. On obtient ainsi une méthode simple pour stabiliser la température du circuit oscillant (L, C, RCu) qui permet d'utiliser des commutateurs à effet de proximité inductifs peu coûteux à grande portée de commutation fonctionnant de façon fiable dans une vaste gamme de températures.
