A stent assembly (30) for use in temporarily securing a surgical component (1) during a surgical procedure includes a catheter assembly (31) having at leat one primary passageway (311) extending there through. The stent assembly (30) further includes a securing assembly (32) for exerting a force against the surgical component (1) for temporarily securing the surgical component (1) during the surgical procedure. The securing assembly (32) includes a portion that extends through the at least one primary passageway (131). The catheter assembly (31) may include a secondary passageway (313) adapted to receive a guide device (3) therein. The securing assembly (32) has a retracted position and an extended position. The securing assembly (32) exerts a force against the surgical component (1) while the securing means (321) is in the extended position. The securing assembly (32) may contain a coating (3210) which increases the gripping force of the securing assembly (32).
Un ensemble (30) extenseur, conçu pour fixer temporairement un élément (1) chirurgical pendant une intervention (31), comprend un ensemble (31) cathéter possédant au moins un premier passage (311) s'étendant à travers ledit cathéter. L'ensemble extenseur (30) comporte, de plus un dispositif (32) de fixation servant à exercer une force sur l'élément (1) chirurgical afin de fixer temporairement ce dernier pendant l'intervention chirurgicale. Ce dispositif (32) de fixation comporte une partie s'étendant à travers le premier passage (131). L'ensemble (31) cathéter peut éventuellement posséder un deuxième passage (313) conçu pour recevoir un dispositif (3) de guidage. Le dispositif (32) de fixation peut présenter une position de rétraction et une position d'extension. Ce dispositif (32) de fixation exerce une force contre l'élément (1) chirurgical tandis que les moyens (321) de fixation se trouvent en position d'extension. Le dispositif (32) de fixation peut éventuellement contenir un revêtement (3210) permettant d'augmenter sa force de préhension.
