ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a substantially pure tenascin receptor characterized in that it consists of two subunits with molecular weights of about 145,000 and 125,000 as determined by SDS-PAGE under non-reducing conditions, and specifically interacts with tenascin in an Arg-Gly-Asp dependent manner.
