Fasteners are known since ancient times. From Roman lead anchor-fasteners to the latest complex high tech mechanical fasteners for medical surgery, they are manufactured in numerous shapes and forms and used in industrial, commercial and private applications. Main characteristic of existing fasteners is the need of expansion, threads, counter-holding devises like plates or nuts, hooks, groves, glues, solder and in most cases the requirement of tools in order to connect the fastener to the materials to be fastened to each other. The invention provides a means of fastening materials to each other by applying tension to a simple, one-piece tension- fastener that is inserted into pre-determined holes in the materials to be fastened to each other and does not require any counter-holding devises.
