The invention concerns a damping device for a safety line comprising two parts (1, 2) adapted to be relatively moved with friction so as to absorb energy. Said damping device is such that one of the parts comprises at least two parallel cable portions (6a, 6b) each adapted to be moved between a pair of jaws (4a, 4b) formed on the other part. The invention also concerns a tensioning device for a safety line incorporating the inventive device. The invention is applicable to installations for work in difficult conditions requiring safety lines.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d~absorption d~énergie pour ligne de sécurité comportant deux parties (1, 2) aptes à être mises en mouvement relatif avec frottement de sorte à absorber de l~énergie. Ce dispositif d~absorption d~énergie est tel qu~une des parties comporte au moins deux portions de câble (6a, 6b) parallèles chacune apte à se déplacer entre une paire de mâchoires (4a, 4b) formée sur l~autre partie. L~invention concerne également un tendeur pour ligne de sécurité incorporant un dispositif selon l~invention. Application aux installations pour le travail dans des conditions difficiles avec mise en place de lignes de sécurité.
