TERMINAL WITH INSULATION DISPLACING CONTACT MEMBERS Abstract of the Disclosure A terminal having insulation displacing contact members, has a conductor connection portion which is channel shaped, with parallel, spaced apart side walls. The side walls extend initially upwardly and inwardly from the base, with their upper edges extending upwardly and outwardly to form centering and guiding members. At one end, or both ends, of the side walls, end walls extend inward with inner edges defining a conductor receiving slot. The top of each end wall, at the junction of inner edge and top edge, forms an insulation cutting and displacing edge. - i -
