Disclosed is a copoly(arylene sulfide) which is useful to the preparation of molded articles. In distinction to poly(arylene sulfide) known in the art, the copoly(arylene sulfide) of this invention exhibits a variable rate of crystallization depending on the amount of disulfide linkages. The copoly(arylene sulfide) of this invention corresponds to the structure (see fig.I) wherein A is a divalent substituted or unsubstituted aromatic radical, T is a monovalent aromatic radical, x is in the range of 0.5 to 0.001 and n is at least 100.
