INDUCTIVE COIL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MOUNTING SAME ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an inductive coil assembly provided with means for securing the assembly to a support. The assembly generally comprises a coil-shell body provided with a body opening through which a current carrying element (i.e. conductor) may be inserted. A securing means such as a screw or the like may be provided within the coil-shell body for securing same to a support. In a preferred embodiment, a conductor itself is used as a support. However, the assembly may be placed around a conductor and secured by the securing means in accordance with the present invention to a non-conductive support.
