4793 CAN ABSTRACT In a connector for a plurality of optical fibre cables, a cap member is releasably attached to the cable receiving end and is formed with apertures for respective cables. The cap member engages helical springs mounted on the cables to secure ferrules, terminating the cables, in passageways of the connector in a spring loaded condition.
