A process for the recovery of oil from a subsurface reservoir in combination with the production of liquid hydrocarbons from a hydrocarbonaceous stream, comprising: (i) separating an oxygen/nitrogen mixture into a stream enriched in oxygen and an oxygen depleted stream; (ii) partial oxidation of the hydrocarbonaceous feed at elevated temperature and pressure using enriched oxygen produced in step (i) to produce synthesis gas; (iii) converting synthesis gas obtained in step (ii) into liquid hydrocarbons; (iv) recovering oil from a subsurface reservoir using at least part of the oxygen depleted gas stream produced in step (i).

L'invention concerne un procédé de récupération de pétrole contenu dans un réservoir souterrain, combiné à la production d'hydrocarbures liquides à partir d'un courant hydrocarboné, comprenant les étapes consistant à : (i) séparer un mélange oxygène/azote de manière à former un courant enrichi en oxygène et un courant dépourvu d'oxygène ; (ii) oxyder partiellement la charge hydrocarbonée à une température et une pression élevées à l'aide de l'oxygène enrichi produit au cours de l'étape (i) afin de produire du gaz de synthèse ; (iii) transformer le gaz de synthèse obtenu au cours de l'étape (ii) en hydrocarbures liquides ; (iv) récupérer du pétrole contenu dans un réservoir souterrain au moyen d'au moins une partie du courant gazeux dépourvu d'oxygène produit au cours de l'étape (i).
