14 ABSTRACT TEST CONNECTOR The test connector, designed for testing an electronic trip device, comprises a moving part (l) able to move axially in a fixed part (2). A compression spring (6) biases the moving part outwards. Two spring-loaded test needles (3), securedly united to the fixed part, pass through longitudinal passages (5) of the moving part (l). The test needles (3) are connected, at their bottom end, by a connecting cable (11) to a test device supplying a test current or voltage. In the non-connected position, the needles are withdrawn inside the moving part. In the connected position, the top end of the needles (3) protrudes outwards and comes into contact with pads (20) of a printed circuit (21) of the trip device. Means for locking the test connector on a face (18) of the trip device in the connected position are also provided. Refer to figure 2.
