26793-31 ABSTRACT A test installation, as is known in particular for the seeker heads used in smart guided munitions, is intended to permit a more realistic test for the seeker head and its signal processing system, for lower equipment costs, especially with regard to the antenna array, which applies in particular to the scanning angle and end-phase movement during approach to the target that can be achieved during the testing mode. To this end, the seeker head and the target simulator are both arranged at a focal point of a quasi-optical image system that consists, preferably, of two para- bolic concave reflectors that are coupled by parallel rays. The seeker head can be traversed over the whole surface of the reflec- tor and thus be traversed through a very large spatial angle with- out losing acquisition of the target simulator, because the latter is located at the other focal point.
