26541-51 ABSTRACT A testing tube, having a plurality of reagent layers influencing the detection reaction and separated from one another by means of a permeable intermediate layer, is to be improved in such a way that an unwanted exchange of reaction products or re- agents between the layers during the measuring process and also during the rest period, i.e. before and after the measurement, is prevented. For this purpose it is provided that the intermediate layer is provided with a valve element opening only while there is a flow through the testing tube.
