Skin prick test kit for the determination of the predisposition of an individual to develop marginal periodontitis, said kit comprising: (a) a first reagent containing a known quantity of a surface structure common to anaerobic Gram negative pathogens which is capable of triggering the inflammatory response associated with periodontitis and gingivitis; (b) a second reagent containing an agonist to said individual; (c) a negative control; and (d) instructions for the use of said kit; and a method for such determination of predisposition.

Cette invention se rapporte à un kit pour test de piqûre épidermique, qui permet de détérminer quelle est la prédisposition d'un sujet à développer une periodontite marginale, ce kit comprenant (a) un premier réactif contenant une quantité connue d'une structure de surface commune aux agents pathogènes Gram-négatif anaérobiques, qui est capable de déclencher la réaction inflammatoire associée à une périodontite et à une gingivite; (b) un second réactif contenant un agonist contre ce sujet; (c) un témoin négatif; et (d) des instructions d'utilisation de ce kit; ainsi qu'à un procédé permettant de détérminer une telle prédisposition.
