The present disclosure provides a tether device that includes a first wristband to which a retracting mechanism is attached. A first end of a cord may be attached to the retracting mechanism. A second end of the cord may be attached to a second band. The retracting mechanism permits retraction and extension of the cord between the first and second wristbands responsive to changes in distance between first and second persons wearing the respective first and second wristbands. The present tether device provides an effective, lightweight tether system that may be used by an adult for inconspicuous, hands-free restraint of a child, particularly in public areas.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de laisse qui comprend un premier bracelet auquel un mécanisme enrouleur est fixé. Une première extrémité d'un cordon peut être fixée au mécanisme enrouleur. Une deuxième extrémité du cordon peut être fixée à un deuxième bracelet. Le mécanisme enrouleur permet de raccourcir ou d'allonger le cordon entre le premier et le deuxième bracelet selon que la distance qui sépare le premier individu du deuxième individu portant respectivement le premier et le deuxième bracelet diminue ou augmente.
