08CP87074 TETRAPOLYMERS AND BLENDS THEREOF WITH ABS ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A copolymer exhibiting an improved Tg comprises a vinyl aromatic monomer, acrylonitrile, an .alpha.,.beta.- unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer and N- phenyl maleimide. Preferably, the vinyl aromatic monomer is styrene and the .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer is maleic anhydride. Blends of the copolymer with ABS resins exhibit good impact strength and heat distortion properties.
