The invention provides a treated textile material having a finish applied to at least a portion of the surface thereof. The finish comprises at least one particulate component which exhibits a positive surface charge when suspended in an aqueous medium. The invention further provides a process for producing a treated textile material comprising the steps of (a) providing a textile material having a surface, (b) providing a suspension comprising a medium and at least one particulate component, the particulate component exhibiting a positive surface charge when suspended in an aqueous medium, (c) applying the suspension to at least a portion of the surface of the textile material, and (d) heating the textile material to remove the medium from the textile material and produce a finish comprising the particulate component on the surface of the textile material.
L'invention se rapporte à un matériau textile traité auquel on a appliqué un apprêt au moins sur une partie de sa surface. L'apprêt comprend au moins un élément de particule qui présente un charge superficielle positive lorsqu'il est en suspension dans un milieu aqueux. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'un matériau textile traité qui consiste (a) à utiliser un matériau textile ayant une surface, (b) à utiliser une suspension comprenant un support et au moins un élément de particule présentant une charge superficielle positive lorsque ledit élément est en suspension dans un milieu aqueux, (c) à appliquer la suspension sur au moins une partie de la surface du matériau textile, et (d) à chauffer le matériau textile afin de retirer le support du matériau textile et afin de produire un apprêt renfermant l'élément de particule sur la surface du matériau textile.
