L'invention concerne un produit textile qui contient des fibres (2) guidant la lumière et comprenant un noyau central apte à transmettre la lumière et une enveloppe extérieure. L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins une partie de la longueur de ladite enveloppe extérieure est dotée, par rapport au noyau intérieur, d'un indice de réfraction permettant à la lumière transmise de s'échapper partiellement de la fibre. La présente invention concerne également des vêtements réalisés à partir de ce produit textile et un procédé de fabrication dudit produit textile.
