TEXTILE TREATMENT COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Textile treatment compositions comprise a water-insoluble cationic fabric softener and a C12-C40 hydrocarbon, optionally together with a water-soluble cationic surfactant. In two component systems, the ratio of cationic softener to hydrocarbon is from 5:1 to 1:3. Preferred hydrocarbon materials have from 14 to 18 carbon atoms and with such materials, highly concen- trated fabric softeners can be prepared.
