Goffinet B.A. Brown ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A textile treating composition in the form of an aqueous dispersion comprises certain substituted polyamine salts and a silicone in a weight ratio of polyamine/silicone of from 5:1 to 1:100. Preferred compositions have a higher alkyl polyamine salt substituted with ethylene oxide groups. The silicone is preferably a poly-diakyl- or alkylaryl- siloxane and may be substituted with substituens of cationic character. An ease-of-ironing benefit is imparted to fabrics rinsed in dilute solutions of the composition.
