A method of lubricating metallic surfaces having micro fissures includes the steps of mixing TFE fluorocarbon resin micro particles in a liquid solvent carrier to form a lubricant suspen- sion, applying the lubricant suspension to an applicator, applying the applicator carrying the lubricant suspension to the metallic surface having micro fissures, whereby impurities in the micro fissures are removed by the liquid solvent and the TFE fluorocarbon resin micro particles impregnate the micro fissures.
