It is intended to provide a human antibody or its active fragment which binds specifically to human platelet membrane glycoprotein VI but never induces human platelet aggregation by itself; a cell producing the above-described antibody or its active fragment; a medicinal composition containing the above- described antibody or its active fragment as the active ingredient and so on. The above cell can be obtained by, for example, activating human peripheral lymphocytes capable of producing an autoantibody against GPVI by in vitro immunization under specific conditions, preparing hybridomas with mouse myeloma cells, and then selecting a hybridoma that produces a monoclonal antibody being capable of binding to GPVI and having an activity of inhibiting the aggregation ability of human platelets by collagen.

L'invention se rapporte à un anticorps humain, ou à un fragment actif de ce dernier, qui se lie spécifiquement à la glycoprotéine membranaire plaquettaire VI humaine, mais qui n'induit jamais en lui-même l'agrégation plaquettaire. L'invention a également trait à une cellule produisant ledit anticorps ou son fragment actif, ainsi qu'à une composition médicinale contenant, comme ingrédient actif, ledit anticorps ou son fragment actif, etc. Le procédé permettant de produire la cellule susmentionnée peut consister, par exemple, à activer des lymphocytes périphériques humains pouvant produire un auto-anticorps dirigé contre GPVI par immunisation in vitro dans des conditions spécifiques, à préparer des hybridomes avec des cellules de myélome murines, puis à sélectionner un hybridome qui produit un anticorps monoclonal pouvant se lier à GPVI et présente une activité inhibitrice de la capacité d'agrégation de plaquettes humaines par le collagène.
