This invention relates to a line or series of five in - home climbing, scratching and exercising apparatus for cats, both clawed and declawed (hereafter referred to as The Cat-A-Pillar, Trademark to be pursued). In this invention, a total of one to four semicircular body panels and one or more platforms or shelves (that are removable and replaceable when worn) are fastened to a central beam or support structure with Hex or Allen Key bolts and / or screws along with two pillar or column - like structures (here after referred to as "caps") that are attached to the bottom and top of the unit to give the appearance of a pillar in the Roman or Greek style of architecture. All units fit and can be mounted flush against a wall or in a corner and are built using the same basic design principles and materials varying only in the size of the unit, from three feet to nine+ feet, the method by which they are mounted or supported themselves, and the platform shapes and styles. Two of the units in the series are mounted directly to a wall or walls, while the other three units run from floor to ceiling fitting seven, eight and nine foot ceiling heights anduse a jacking or tension fit device to allow for four inches of adjustment either above or below these heights with an addition of two inches for the height of the base of the tension unit. Wall plugs or other suitable types of anchoring systems such as toggle bolts are used to attach all units to a wall or walls. A spike or nail at the top of the larger units that fits into the ceiling and holds the larger units in place when tension is applied. The climbing surfaces of the semicircular sections and the material covering the platforms are primarily a durable burlap/hemp material, sisal rope, carpet and strong upholstery fabric.
