This invention provides a means for people who are experiencing difficulty, because of physical impairment, to deliver a curling stone, or other similar objects used in the field of sport. There is no known similar device used specifically in the sport of curling. The Canadian Curling Association has approved the use of a "curling aid" for general and officiated curling. Sections 17(2)(a) & 19(3) of rule book. The Head of The Extender can be made of injection moulded polypropolene and is joined to a handle similar to that of a broom. This Head has a swivel member which locates on the curling stone handle and provides control of the degree of "spin" and direction desired of the curling stone by the participant. The "slip release" of the stone handle made possible by the half round design of the Swivel Member provides an unimpeded delivery of the curling stone. The Extender may have other applications comparable to a curling stone.
