The gas-lift reciprocating pump has two cylinders in one casing cylinder. In one of them is located a piston protected by the quicksilver from the top. Another cylinder is the compression chamber. The gas-lift reciprocating pump has two valves: inlet and outlet valves. The quicksilver doesn't allow the contact of the piston and its cylinder with the solids or sand contained in the well mixture (water-oil-sand and solids). The protecting fluid or quicksilver compresses the well mixture trapped in a chamber of compression allowing the pass through the outlet valve up. The compressed gas causes the reciprocating movement of the piston. The gas is compressed from the surface by compressor and goes between casing pipe and production pipes. It enters to the cylinder, which contains a piston through the hole and pushes it up. When the gas is releases the piston is going down. The gas is forced to enter in the hole due to seal packer installed between casing pipe and casing cylinder from the bottom. The contact of the sand with the piston and cylinder in the conventional reciprocating pumps causes the big reductions of service time of the pumps. Therefore the novel of this invention is the increase the pump time service due to use of protecting fluid like the quicksilver. The technical field of this invention is the extraction of oil at the oil fields.
