The J Bar is a bar that would mount on the front of a big army patrol vecheile.Its a metal dector for when patrolling the roads in Afganistan that would detect any road side bombs. It would be 15-20 foot long bar with the bar being one big metal detector mounted on the front of the vechile projecting in front of the vechile 0-5 feet into the earth and a 0-20 foot projection in front of the vechile. If you couldnt make the bar a metal detector place metal detector discs on the bar. Then place marked flags to show where the land mines are.
