The Patio Door Security Bar device is mounted on the inside of the patio door being attached to the edge face of the interior sliding panel and attached to the inside of the patio door frame to secure the door; or when installing on an exterior sliding panel The Patio Door Security Bar is attached to the edge of the stationary panel of the patio door and the side of the sliding panel frame. A center hinge is used in the Patio Door Security Bar to enable the device to fold out of the way when opening the door; therefore, not having to remove the security device to open the sliding patio door. A u-pin is used to lock the Patio Door Security Bar when the patio door is in the closed position. This security device is designed to fit any and all sizes and brands of sliding patio doors, with interior or exterior sliding panels.
