In all motor vehicles there is an operating red brake light safety system. This existing system is not always effective at notifying others of the slowing down and/or stopping action of a motor vehicle. With the proper use of this invention, the problems of unclear distinction of a motor vehicle that is in the process of slowing down and/or stopping, are minimized. This invention, which is a "coloured light" other than the standard "red light" (and including any resemblance of) motor vehicle safety brake light system, will enable the clear distinction of a motor vehicle that is in the slowing down and/or stopping process. As a motor vehicle operator applies pressure to the brake pedal, the new "coloured light" motor vehicle safety brake light system is activated. Once activated, the coloured light that is located on the rear face of the motor vehicle illuminates allowing all within visible range to be distinctly aware of the slowing down and/or stopping action of that particular motor vehicle. In summary this new invention will act as a great contributor to the prevention of many accidents in which damage to private and public property occurs. as well it will contribute to the prevention of many accidents in which human injuries and deaths occur.
