2113185 9301811 PCTABS00019 Described is a method of preparing a sterile-filterable aqueous solution of an active substance, the method comprising the following steps. Anipamil hydrochloride is mixed with a phospholipid in the ratio of 1:2 to 2:1 by wt., the solution thus obtained is gelled by the addition of water at elevated temperature, and the gel then reacted with water at elevated temperature until the active substance is at the desired concentration.
