The present invention relates to a word game utilizing a plurality of special playing pieces, designed to represent the keys of a telephone. The unique style of each playing piece, allows for multiple choices of letters when choosing just a single playing piece, thus precipitating a wider choice of letters than is available in other word forming games. The object of the game is to form words from these playing pieces. The present invention is different from other word games, in that the players can use all the playing pieces associated with the game and all the playing pieces are face-up. When playing previous word games, a player could only use the playing pieces dealt them or in one case picked blindly from a box but the remaining playing pieces remained hidden. This limited choice of letters in other games can be frustrating to a player. The present invention solves this dilemma, by allowing the players to use all the playing pieces and further, all the playing pieces are placed face-up for all the players to see when playing the game.
