This invention involves the use of polyaspartic acid salts as a grinding agent to produce aqueous suspensions of refined mineral matter which can be pumped, deposit no sediment and are highly concentrated in mineral matter; it includes the grinding process which uses the agent in question, the aqueous suspensions of mineral matter obtained and their application to the paper industry.
