A theft deterrent bracket (10) for holding and presenting at least one item (50) from a wall or panel, said bracket comprising at least one socket (12) for receiving a portion of said item. The casing comprises: a) locking means (22) positioned within said casing and comprising a locking element having first and second configurations; said locking element being sized and shaped to, in the first configuration, engage with a corresponding element positioned on said item and fixedly retain said item within said casing, and, in the second configuration, not engage with said corresponding element of said item; b) releasing means (60) actual to move said locking means into said second configuration; and c) protecting means (24, 32) to shield said locking means and said releasing means from direct access or interference. The bracket is provided with affixing means (17) for attaching it to a panel.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de retenue antivol (10) destiné à retenir au moins un article (50) sur une paroi ou un panneau en vue de sa présentation, ce dispositif comprenant au moins un logement (12) pouvant recevoir une partie de cet article. Le boîtier comprend (a) un organe de blocage (22) situé dans le boîtier et possédant un élément de blocage présentant une première et une seconde configuration, cet élément de blocage étant conçu, dans une première configuration, pour entrer en prise avec un élément correspondant situé sur ledit article et pour retenir fixement l'article dans le boîtier, et, dans la seconde configuration, pour ne pas entrer en prise avec l'élément correspondant de l'article, (b) un organe de libération (60) destiné à déplacer l'organe de blocage dans la seconde configuration, et (c) un organe de protection (24, 32) destiné à protéger l'organe de blocage et l'organe de libération contre un accès direct ou une intrusion. Ce dispositif de retenue est pourvu d'un organe de fixation (17) assurant sa fixation sur un panneau.
