The invention relates to novel Thermoplastic Olefin compositions comprising polypropylene, and ethylene-alpha olefin elastomer and a compatibilizer comprising an ethylene-propylene copolymer having a propylene content of greater than 80 weight percent. The ethylene-propylene copolymer compatibilizer imparts a greater degree of compatibility between the polypropylene and elastomer phases yielding improved physical properties.
L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositons d'oléfines thermoplastiques comprenant du polypropylène et un élastomère d'éthylène-alpha oléfine ainsi qu'un agent de compatibilité comprenant un copolymer d'éthylène-propylène présentant une teneur en propylène supérieure à 80 % en poids. L'agent de compatibilité contenant le copolymère d'éthylène-propylène confère un degré supérieur de compatibilité entre les phases polypropylène et élastomère, ce qui améliore les propriétés physiques.
