A method and device to deliver medication in a liquid formulation to a plurality of adjacent tissue sites of a mammal, the device comprising a plurality of tissue- engaging members for receiving the medication and operably engageable with the plurality of tissue sites; means for supplying the tissue-engaging members with the formulation, and to temporarily sustain and control the rate of therapeutic agent/unit of time and preferably to sustain these controlled delivery rates over extended periods of time to enhance the local therapeutic effect of these therapeutic agents and to reduce the systemic toxicity and reduce unwanted side effects.
