This invention relates to a medicine for treating cancer comprising a compound of the formula Image , Image or Image I IIA IIB wherein Z is O, S, OH, alkyl-S-, alkyl-SO-, alkyl-SO2-, etc.; X is NR1 or CHR1; R1 is H, alkyl, alkylphenyl or absent; R is naphthyl, phenyl, alkyl, etc.; R3 and R4 are optionally substituted benzyl, H, phenyl, etc., R5 is (CH2)n-Y or -OCOR9; Y is OH, NH2, etc.; n is 1-7; R9 is alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R6 is H or substituent; R7 is alkyl, etc.; R8 is pyridyl, etc.; E1 and E are H or substituent; G is O or S; Het' and Het'' are heterocyclic ring; and p is 0 or 1. Novel compounds of the formula I are also claimed.
