A drug containing as the active ingredient a 4-acylaminotetrahydrofuro[2,3- b]quinoline derivative represented by general formula (I), an acid-addition salt thereof, or a hydrate or (where solvate thereof, in R1 represents C2-C6 alkyl, etc.; and R2 and R3 represent each hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl). As the derivative has a protective action on delayed neuron death caused by cerebral ischemia, it is useful as a remedy and preventive for cerebrovascular disorder, head injury, postencephalitic sequela, and the like.

L'invention concerne un médicament qui contient comme principe actif un dérivé de 4-acylaminotétrahydrofuro[2,3-b]quinoline représenté par la formule générale (I), un sel d'addition acide, un hydrate ou un solvate de ce dérivé. Dans la formule, R?1¿ désigne alkyle C¿2?-C¿6?, etc.; et R?2¿ et R?3¿ désignent chacun hydrogène ou alkyle C¿1?-C¿6?. Comme ce dérivé a un effet protecteur contre la mort neuronique retardée causée par l'ischémie cérébrale, il est utile comme médicament thérapeutique et prophylactique de troubles cérébrovasculaires, de lésions de la tête, de séquelles d'encéphalites et similaires.
