ABSTRACT An apparatus for correcting the center of gravity of the human body suitable for applying compression therapy without having an adverse effect on the vertebrae, comprising a head contact member placed in contact with the head, and head compression means which compresses the head contact member towards the body. Further, by providing such a head contact member placed in contact with the head, head compression means which compresses the head contact member toward the body, and body compression means which compress body contact members towards the body, not only are spinal deformities of the body corrected more effectively, but also, displacements of the center of gravity due to factors other than spinal deformity are also corrected effectively.
